Look up to the sky and see all the stars, without any hallucination.
The Planetarium of Lecco is placed at Palace Belgiojoso and represents one of the best structure of its kind in all Italy
Its dome measures 8 meter diameter and reproduces the naked eye visible sky appearance, really observable in ideal visibility conditions in each part of the Earth and at each date.
You can observe stars and planets together with the sun. This feature is of a great importance to understand the basis of spherical astronomy: the solstice and equinox points, the precession of equinoxes, year-long sun’s orbit relative to the other stars, the variation of day’s and night’s duration at season and latitude change.
It’s also interesting observe the apparent moon’s and planets’ move relative to the sun and stars, that actually take weeks months and years to perform.
