The Cathedral 
The Dome is the symbol of Milan in the world and for centuries shows the devotion of Man towards the Divine in all its majesty.
It is a religious building, before an artistic monument, and is particularly linked to the memory and the Magisterium of the succeeding Bishops on the Sant’Ambrogio Chair.

The Museum 
The Great Museum of the Cathedral is spread over an area of ​​more than two thousand square meters in the spaces of Palazzo Reale and in its 27 rooms it houses sculptures, paintings, tapestries and architectural models ranging from the sixteenth century to the present day.

Baptistery of S. Giovanni alle Fonti – Archaeological Area
Under the churchyard there is a very important place for the religious history of Milan: the Baptistery of S. Giovanni alle Fonti with the remains of S. Tecla.
Built in the fourth century by the will of Sant’Ambrogio, who baptized Sant’Agostino here, it represents an inestimable cultural and spiritual heritage of Milan.
It was demolished in 1387 to make room for the Duomo and was rediscovered much later (1961) during the construction of the subway.

The Terraces

The Cathedral terraces offer a unique spectacle. Walk to a height of about 50 meters to admire the city panorama immersed in the art and the marble of Candoglia.
