The Northern Grigna Regional Park between Lake Como and Valsassina means nature, art and culture.
The Northern Grigna Regional Park has as natural borders the Lake Como, Esino Valley and Valsassina. It covers 500 ectares of Pre-Alps Orobie and extends itself on the territory of many municipalities from the Lake Como to Valsassina.
The wonderful calcareous rocks with their particular formations frame the park in an unaltered nature. Agricultural activities with product renewed worldwide in particular thanks to Valsassina’s dairy products.
The Northern Grigna Regional Park welcomes you with lush woods and great peaks such as the wonderful ones of the Grigne, offering several hiking paths, mountaineering routes and mountain retreat. You can also find churches of Romanesque and Baroque style, hosting precious frescoes and treasures.
