Briosco – Monza Brianza –
Discover the Rossini Art Site park in Briosco. Art, architecture, wide garden, a small lake and animal where you can enjoy time with your kids and family.
If you are around Brianza, you must visit the Rossini Art Site in Briosco. Strongly desired by his patron entrepreneur Alberto Rossini, who wanted to share his passion for art with others, this unusual park brings to life and we are sure it leaves you speechless.
Rossini Art Site covers an area of 10 hectares where you can discover and enjoy an unusual park: architectural and artistic elements are blended in perfect harmony with the natural context of Brianza, between the typical landscapes of agricultural fields and looking at the horizon the mountain range of the Pre-Alps Orobie and the Alps.
This park was designed and built to be a welcoming space, flexible and particularly suitable for families. It’s really amazing how children can live an unique experience: they can run free in the park in the midst of sculptures of the most important Italian artists representatives of the abstract art such as Turcato, Cascella, Consagra, Melotti, Munari, Tomato and Varisco and international figures of caliber such as Arman, Cesar, Dietman, Nagasawa, Oppenheim, Spoerri, Tinguely.
The thing that may seem strange but it definitely embodies the sense of Rossini Art Site and the intention of its creator is the entrance pavilion: its green roof with native vegetation and large windows walls. It is not a building there is to say, but a beautiful observatory from which our gaze moves all around the Brianza hills and the surrounding mountains.
Walking in the park among installations we find a water element: a small pond of spring water. Where there is water there is life and here we also find some animals: wild rabbits, ponies, horses and donkeys.
Everything is featured in this park. Indeed we can say that is a special place and deserves to be explored and experienced. Art, architecture, nature and so much love and passion that you breathe deeply. As Mr. Rossini said – “This is a park for everyone!”
Note – possibility to hire towels hire and purchase baskets to enjoy a picnic with family.
