Campelli-Aralalta mountain: a group of peaks of the Pre-Alps Orobie from Valsassina to Val Brembana.
The group Campelli-Aralalta ranges from the Pass of Bobbio to Culmine of San Pietro in Valsassina to reach Val Brembana in Bergamo province.
Its highest peaks are Zuccone Campelli and Monte Aralalta, this group offers many excursion paths and climbing sides.
Well-known for ski lovers is Piani di Bobbio, with its 30 km of slopes for downhill skiing and a cross-country. Another famous area is Piani di Artavaggio where you can enjoy both winter and summer, particularly suitable for families oriented.
Historical note – The Piani di Artavaggio in the past was the border between the duchy of Milan and the republic of Venice, while the Culmine of San Pietro was the pass allowing the communication between the two states. You can see landmarks with relevant states’s symbols and dates.
