Valmadrera
Enjoy the Lariano triangle riding a bike. The cycle route of Lakes Briantei, passing through Lecco and Lake Garlate, to admire beautiful landscapes.
The so called Triangolo Lariano offers a great opportunity to enjoy it riding a bike: the cycle route of Lakes Briantei, a ring route.
The route is mixed and generally level: asphalt and dirt road. It has some deep parts.
Our starting point is in Valmadrera, place: baia di Parè. Here there is a wide parking area.
We cycle to Lake Annone and then go on to Pusiano, where we turn right to Segrino direction. We will arrive to Lake Segrino: we can admire its southern part. Our route goes on to Ponte Lambro, Albavilla and Tavernerio, where we take towards Lake Montorfano.
Immersed into nature, along a dirt road, passing through woods we reach Lake Alserio. Now we have to face some ups and downs, riding our bike into the municipalities of Monguzzo, Merone and Rogeno.
We arrive again to Pusiano and we can admire Lake Pusiano passing through Eupilio, Garbagnate Rota and Bosisio Parini, along the cycle-pedestrian route that lines the provincial road. Get to Lake Annone in Oggiono and here take towards Galbiate.
As soon as we are in Galbiate we have two possibilities: going on along the normal road to Pescate, or otherwise taking towards Garlate (near the cemetery) where we can cycle on the new cycle route of Lake Garlate and Olginate towards Pescate. From here you go on riding to Lecco, passing along the new lakeside of Malgrate admiring Lecco’s skyline to arrive in Parè, our starting point and final destination.
