Go straight up until you reach the village of Costa (786 m), turn right rising along the path, on your left you see the Chapel of Madonna del Resegone, keep going until you reach Stoppani Refuge (890m).Go on rising: along the path you find a source and then you cross a small creek. Ignore all the deviations you find on your path just keep on walking straight until you reach a fork where there is the sign path n.5, coming from Piani d’Erna. You have to go on along path n.1. On this way you can admire the wonderful view on Lecco and Lake Como from the natural terrace of Beduletta (1320m). Bypass the gully of Val Comera and reach Pian Serada. Now we suggest you to take a rest before facing the final part.Keep on ging straight along the path until you reach Passo della Sibretta (1655 m), where a chain path allow you to arrive into the gully of Val Negra. From here you proceed rising among the rocks until you reach path n. 11, take it and shortly you’ll be at Azzoni Refuge. We know the ascent to Resegone is very demanding but you’ll agree with us that the entire struggle is well repaid thanks to a breath-taking panorama on Lecco, its beautiful eastern shore of Lake Como and all the surrounding mountains.
