The nature reserve Pian di Spagna in Colico is a humid area  of worldwide interest as per the Convention of Ramsar.
Its territory is mainly originated by the overflow of Lake of Mezzola. The landscape offers wide cane fields as well as wood of broad-leaves and wide agriculture area dedicated to pasture or plots of corn.
The natural reserve Pian di Spagna and Lake Mezzola are an extraordinary place where you can enjoy nature trails.
