Barro mountain in Lecco: biodiversity and many cues of environmental, historical and cultural interest.<\/h1>\n

Barro mountain<\/strong> looks Lecco<\/a><\/strong> frontally and it is easy to access from the center of Galbiate<\/strong> in less than an hour.
\nCompletely isolated from the other mountains, it is an extraordinary resort of the Pre-Alps Orobie<\/strong>. From its peak you can enjoy a wonderful panorama: Lake Como<\/a> and its surrounding mountains<\/strong><\/a>, LakeBriantei<\/strong><\/a> and Brianza.<\/p>\n

A real gem is represented by the Monte Barro Regional Park<\/strong><\/a>, which offers many cues from a naturalistic, historical and cultural point of view.
\nAt Eremo, originally the small fort of the Sforza\u2019s Milanese family, there is the Park Center with the Archaeological Museum<\/a><\/strong>, hosting several Ostrogoths findings discovered at Piani di Barra<\/strong><\/a>.
\nAnother place of interest is the district of Camporeso, dated back to the late Middle Ages, where there is the Ethnogprahic Museum of Alta Brianza, dedicated to local customs of the popular classes of XIX and XX centuries living in this land.<\/p>\n

The environment of Barro mountain is a treasure of biodiversity<\/strong> and hosts great areas of naturalistic interest: the Ornithological Station of Costa Perla<\/strong><\/a>, seat of scientific and educational activities based on birds\u2019 migration, the Natural Reserve of Fa\u00e8, including the eastern woods area with beeches, maples, limes and ashes and hosting the natural reserve of the peak, astride of the ridges with its calcareous crags, open grassland and meadows.<\/p>\n
