The Montevecchia and Curone Valley Park is framed into the Pre-Alps Orobie. This area is located in the green southern-east part of Brianza, overlapping with the agricultural and industrial valley, close to the metropolitan area of Milan.
Its area covers 2400 hectares and has its highest point is the hill of Montevecchia, the creeks Curone and Molgoretta floes inside the park.
The Park is not just a nature reserve with a great environmental heritage, but also hosts an urban center, productive settlements, areas dedicated to agriculture and breeding, as well as architectural elements both civil and religious of great artistic and cultural value. The Beata Vergine del Carmelo stands out on Montevecchia’s hill.
